Baixian Group marks sixtieth year of continuous operations.

Baixian Group commemorated its sixtieth year of continuous operations, with the milestone marked at the Linsen Road headquarters in Kaohsiung. The group has operated continuously across the founding region of Penghu, the Kaohsiung operational base since 1973, and present-day mainland operations across Fuzhou, Shanghai, and Shenyang.

— Baixian Group has marked the sixtieth year of continuous operations in the Greater China seafood trade, the firm announced today. The milestone was commemorated at the group's headquarters on Linsen 4th Road in Kaohsiung's Qianzhen district, where a corporate history wall installation documents the firm's record from a single Penghu market stall in 1965 through the present-day cross-strait operating footprint.

The group's operational record across six decades includes founding operations at the Penghu Magong fish market in 1965 with starting capital of NT$2,000; the 1971 commissioning of the firm's first distant-water vessels through Yu Long (玉隆) and Fei Teng (飛騰) Distant-Water Fisheries; the 1973 relocation of operational headquarters to Kaohsiung; the 1980 entry into SW Atlantic squid operations through Chian-Der No.1 (憲德一號) — predating the Falkland Islands Conservation Zone regulatory regime by six years and UNCLOS entry-into-force by fourteen; the 1988 establishment of the Baixianwu (百鮮屋) brand and the vertical integration operating model; the 2000 establishment of mainland operations through Fuzhou Baixianwu Frozen Foods; and the build-out of the BXTW and BXGC processing and cold-storage footprint across Kaohsiung and Fuzhou.

Baixian Group has operated continuously through the Plaza Accord, the Asian Financial Crisis, the FICZ regime change, the 2008 global financial crisis, and the post-COVID seafood-trade reset under the same corporate structure and ownership group throughout. Present-day operations span processing and cold-storage facilities in Kaohsiung and Fuzhou, satellite offices in Taipei, Taichung, Shanghai, and Shenyang, and trade flows reaching buyers across more than forty markets.
